Terms of Use

Platform terms for authorized use of BlokLink building-management operations.

Legal review notice

These policies are practical platform terms prepared for counsel review. They support the initial North Macedonia pilot and global-ready use, but they are not formal legal advice and may be supplemented by customer agreements or local-law addenda.

About BlokLink

BlokLink is a SaaS platform that supports building-management operations such as access requests, user roles, units, issues, Notices, contacts, notifications, audit logs, and resident-facing workflows.

Pilot and global-use context

BlokLink may be used in different countries. The initial pilot is for North Macedonia building-management use, but local laws, customer agreements, country-specific addenda, and separate written arrangements may apply or supplement these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By using BlokLink or continuing after a required acceptance prompt, you agree to the BlokLink Terms of Use and acknowledge the BlokLink Privacy Policy. This acknowledgement is not broad consent to every type of data processing.

Eligibility and authorized users

You may use BlokLink only if you are an authorized platform, management-company, support, owner, or tenant user for the relevant scope. Access may depend on active company, building, unit, owner, tenant, or staff records.

User roles and access boundaries

Role, company, building, unit, owner, tenant, and support-specialist boundaries must be respected. UI filters or selected building context do not create or expand authorization; server-side authorization remains authoritative.

Account security

Keep credentials confidential, use your own account, sign out on shared devices, and report suspected misuse. Do not share passwords, impersonate another user, or allow unauthorized people to use your account.

Management company responsibilities

Management companies are responsible for lawful and accurate company, building, unit, contact, staff, owner, tenant, Resident Terms, Building Rules, and operational setup, including deciding who should receive access and what local rules apply.

Owner and tenant responsibilities

Owners and tenants must provide accurate information, use only their authorized units/buildings, respect Resident Terms and Building Rules where applicable, and avoid submitting misleading access requests, issues, comments, uploads, or also-affected markers.

Support specialist and staff access boundaries

Support specialists and staff must use BlokLink only for assigned operational work within authorized scope. They must not use support access to view, alter, export, or disclose unrelated company, building, unit, resident, or user data.

Acceptable use and conduct rules

Use BlokLink for lawful building-management operations. Content should be clear, relevant, respectful, and appropriate for management review. Do not abuse notifications, issue reports, evidence uploads, or communication features.

Prohibited activity

Do not attempt unauthorized access, share credentials, bypass security, scrape or reverse engineer the platform where inappropriate, interfere with availability, submit unlawful or abusive content, upload irrelevant private third-party material, or use BlokLink as emergency dispatch.

False information and misuse of access requests

Access requests, evidence, owner or tenant claims, unit information, and contact details must be accurate. BlokLink or the management company may refuse, restrict, revoke, or terminate access for false, misleading, duplicate, or abusive submissions.

Uploads, evidence, attachments, and user content

You are responsible for the material you submit. Upload only lawful, relevant, and necessary content. Do not upload discriminatory, harassing, threatening, unlawful, irrelevant, confidential third-party, malicious, or inappropriate files or text.

Issues, Notices, notifications, and operational records

Issues, Notices, notifications, access decisions, also-affected records, comments, attachments, and audit events are operational records. The in-app inbox remains the source of truth for platform notifications.

Emergencies

BlokLink is not an emergency dispatch service. For fire, medical, security, utilities, or other urgent situations, use phone, local emergency services, building emergency contacts, or the official emergency process first.

Resident Terms and Building Rules

Resident Terms and Building Rules are provided by the management company. BlokLink may display them and record acceptance, but management companies are responsible for ensuring their own terms are lawful, accurate, appropriate, and up to date.

Separation from management-company rules

BlokLink Terms govern use of the BlokLink platform. BlokLink does not draft, verify, approve, interpret, or enforce management-company Resident Terms or Building Rules unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Data protection and Privacy Policy

The BlokLink Privacy Policy explains how platform and operational data may be handled. Data protection rights and responsibilities may vary by location, customer agreement, management company, and applicable law.

Audit logs, security records, and terms acceptance records

BlokLink may record audit logs, security events, session records, access decisions, and terms acceptance records to protect the platform, evidence operational actions, and support compliance, dispute, or security review.

Suspension, restriction, revocation, or termination of access

BlokLink or an authorized management company may suspend, restrict, revoke, refuse, or terminate access where required for security, incorrect scope, inactive access, legal obligations, customer instructions, misuse, or breach of these Terms.

Breach of Terms

Breach of these Terms may result in investigation, access restriction, revocation, deletion or preservation of content as appropriate, notification to the management company, audit review, or other action allowed by law or agreement.

Service availability, pilot changes, and maintenance

BlokLink may be changed, interrupted, limited, or unavailable during pilot testing, maintenance, upgrades, outages, or operational incidents. Features may be added, removed, or adjusted as the platform matures.

No online payments in the current pilot

The current pilot does not include online payments, card processing, billing collection, or payment facilitation. BlokLink does not process card payments in this scope.

Intellectual property and platform ownership

BlokLink, its software, design, workflows, branding, and platform materials are owned by BlokLink or its licensors. Users retain responsibility for content they submit, while granting the rights needed to operate and display it within the authorized platform scope.

Third-party services and providers

BlokLink may rely on hosting, database, storage, email, security, browser, device, or other service providers. Third-party availability, device settings, and browser permissions may affect platform behavior.

Disclaimers and no professional advice

BlokLink provides operational software and does not provide legal, financial, engineering, property-management, safety, or emergency advice. Management companies and users remain responsible for professional judgment and official procedures.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by applicable law and any customer agreement, BlokLink is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, lost-profit, lost-data, emergency-response, or management-company rule disputes arising from platform use.

Changes to Terms and re-acceptance

BlokLink may update these Terms. If a new active version requires acceptance, users may be asked to re-accept before continuing to use signed-in platform features.

Governing law, customer agreements, and local-law addenda

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, these Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable to the BlokLink contracting entity and the relevant customer or pilot arrangement. For the initial North Macedonia pilot, these Terms are intended to be reviewed under the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia. Country-specific addenda may be introduced later.

Contact and legal review note

Questions should be directed through the BlokLink or management-company contact channel for the relevant pilot or customer arrangement. These Terms are prepared for legal review and may be supplemented or overridden by separate written customer agreements.
